This is the typically Carey film he gets some supernatural power or curse and he screws it up then everything and every thing gets better and he gets the girl. Now, I'm not saying that I don't like this but it does get tedious. The highlight of the movie is god played by Morgan Freeman. Definitely better than it's sequel Evan Almighty which I will recommend if you liked Bruce. So if you like slapstick comedy classic Jim Carey you'll love BRUCE ALMIGHTY. I give it 6 stars out of 10. In the action packed summer Sci-fi flick SUPER 8, 6 kids try to save their town from an Extra-terrestrial life form all taking place in 1978. With astonishing CGI great child actors and plot that will keep you hooked from beginning to end I give it 8 1/2 stars out of 10. Overall a great summer popcorn film.
